  • You will need to wash your nappy and inserts before using them for the first time.

  • Please note that the hemp insert will shrink slightly.

  • Do not worry they have been designed with this in mind.

  • When the hemp is still wet, please reshape before leaving to dry.

  • Both the Hemp and Bamboo will take a number of washes to reach their maximum level of absorbency so you may need to change your nappies more often to begin with.

  • Wash your nappies with a cold rinse cycle first.

  • Follow the rinse cycle with a longer 40c wash using washing powder.

  • Do not use any fabric softener or bleach as this will affect absorbency.

nappy use.png
  • Snap the inserts together and onto the nappy and stuff into the pocket.

  • Use the rise snaps on the front of the nappy and the waist snaps to fit your nappy to your child.

  • Change at least every three hours

  • You will need to change sooner if there has been a bowel movement.

  • Knock solids into toilet (breast milk poos do not need to be removed)

  • Store nappy in a wet bag or dry pail until you are ready to wash them (max three days)

  • Reshape hemp following every wash.

  • Air drying is preferred and recommended so it is best to hang on the line outside or indoors on a clothes airer.

  • Do not put on radiator as this will affect the PUL which makes the nappy waterproof.

  • Only ever tumble dry on a low heat.

It really is that simple.

Reusable nappies may sound confusing at first but once you start using them you will find out just how simple they are to use.
